SpearFysh is a web-services application where Executives, Sales Managers, and Salespeople can securely manage, share, coach, and search conversations which have been machine analyzed. SpearFysh was founded by Marc Miller, CEO of Sogistics and author of two best-selling books on sales productivity. His belief is that the new key to sustaining profitable enterprise growth is creating agile, nimble, and quick-to-execute sales & marketing teams.
The idea of SpearFysh is remarkably simple - drive productivity by introducing more accountability and transparency into the field sales equation. This occurs by leveraging the power of low-cost mobile technology to capture interactions. Once captured and digitized, sales calls can now be searched, shared, and machine analyzed to improve sales performance.

Marc Miller
Chief Executive Officer
Marc is the founder and CEO of SpearFysh, Inc. Prior to SpearFysh, Marc was CEO of Sogistics Corporation, an internationally known sales productivity improvement firm. His ideas, models, and methodologies are used by organizations such as Genentech, Nokia, G.E., Oerlikon, Siemens, and Oracle. He is an active investor, speaker, and author. Marc has ownership in privately-held companies in healthcare, packaging, graphic arts, and learning management. Marc's first book, "Selling is Dead", (published by John Wiley & Sons) was on numerous best seller lists and has been translated into multiple languages. His latest book, "A Seat at the Table", (published by Greenleaf Book Group) explores the new role of sales and account managers transforming from "salespeople" to "businesspeople who sell."
Rand Lennox
Chief Technology Officer
Rand has worked for over 20 years in the software industry providing management and solutions delivery expertise to global enterprises. He has led several large-scale application development initiatives, including developing the architecture for an integrated global CRM system for IBM. He has served as Vice President of Consumer E-Commerce Application Development for KeyBank, and has managed application development and deployment projects for several clients.
Kevin Cartier
Director of Business Intelligence
For the past nine years, Kevin has been in a management position at Case Western Reserve University for a large-scale government funded research engine that compiles massive amounts of patient data (big data) and indexes it against genomic data. This involved heavy analytics, pattern recognition, and statistical analysis as a means to develop practical insights and intelligence. Prior to this he spent five years working with a VC-backed voice analytics software company where he was responsible for adding a contextual layer on top of an analytics engine that spotted patterns and interpreted contact and intent from speech. Kevin holds two Master's degrees, one in Computer and Information Science and one in Biostatistics and Genetic Epidemiology.
Lisa Banach
Director of Managed Analytics
Prior to joining SpearFysh, Inc., Lisa spent over ten years with Sogistics Corporation, most recently holding the position of Director of Assessment Services. At Sogistics, Lisa developed behaviorally-based assessment models that analyzed thousands of salespeople and sales managers annually. Her assessments were used by small businesses to Fortune 500 companies - all of whom were in the complex selling space. Her assessments served as the primary research engine at Sogistics and she worked in a number of industries including software/IT, medical, manufacturing, construction, chemical, professional services, and automotive. In her role, Lisa had P&L responsibilities around Assessment Solutions and Services. She obtained her Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Xavier University.
